EpHLA Converter

EpHLA Converter is a web program developed to help conversions from HLA types in low or medium resolution for 4-digit alleles (high resolution). For the conversion,the system consults public databases (NMDP, IMGT) and allele frequencies from reference populations.

EpHLA Converter is integrated to the EpHLA and EpViX softwares to make it easy to perform a histocompatibility analysis in epitope level for clinical purposes. Furthermore, the system helps users to choose the best option for class II linkage. In fact, EpHLA Converter shows DR-DQ linkage options and their frequencies to users.

The system works with both serology and molecular biology. Our goal is to make life in HLA simple.

• Home: Go back to the home page (this page).
• Molecular Biology: This framework allows users to corvert HLA types from Low or Medium resolution to High resolution.
• Linkage Molecular Biology: In this section the user can easily choose the best option for DRB1, DRB3/4/5, DQA1 and DQB1 linkage. The user must inform DRB1 types in molecular biology.
• Linkage Serology: In this section the user can easily choose the best option for DRB1, DRB3/4/5, DQA1 and DQB1 linkage. The user must inform DRB1 types in serology.
• Database Converter: In this section you can upload your database (click here to download the model) and convert all from low or medium resolution to high resolution (Molecular Biology).
